Birmingham, UK – January 29, 2024 – Portway Systems, a global leader in travel technology, today announced it has appointed Amer Ali Mohammed as its new Regional Success Manager for the Middle East.

Amer is based in the United Arab Emirates and has more than a decade of experience leading innovation, strategy and execution within both start-ups and growing organizations undergoing transformation. He most recently held the title of Customer Success Manager at one of the largest GDS provider in the world, Travelport (which recently acquired Deem in 2023). In the new role, Amer will oversee Portway Systems’ commercial activities for travel sellers across the region.

Amer is a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Wireless Networking.
